RTP Credit Union is informing members of a cybersecurity incident affecting TruStage, a third-party provider of insurance and financial services to credit unions and their members. TruStage is working to restore systems and services through a phased recovery process.
TruStage reports that the incident has been contained and that it is carefully restoring affected systems and services. Some services may remain unavailable or experience delays during this process. TruStage advises members to check for updates in their resource hub regularly, as information may change.
RTP CU will share more information if we receive confirmed details that directly affect RTP CU members.
Beware of Scams:
Cybersecurity incidents can result in fraudulent calls, emails, or text messages. Be cautious of unexpected communications claiming to be from TruStage, RTP CU, or another trusted organization. Do not click links or open attachments in unexpected emails.
Do not respond to unsolicited requestes for:
Payments or banking information, account or card numbers, online banking passwords, PINs or one-time security codes, or social security numbers or other personal information.
