Loan Assistance Program

RTP Federal Credit Union (RTP FCU) understands the importance of helping members remain strong during times of financial uncertainty. It is the mission of RTP FCU to assist our members to the best of our ability and help provide superior service to help members improve their financial lives.

Our Loan Assistance Program offers assistance to members who are experiencing financial difficulties due to loss of income. This program provides financial options that may prevent members from losing their homes due to foreclosure, filing for bankruptcy protection or just weathering a short-term financial storm.

Members may be eligible for these program options:

• Consolidating loans to reduce payments
• Extending the term of a loan to reduce payments
• Skip-a-payment
• Reduce or waive late fees and/or interest due
• Interest only payments for a determined length of time
• Settlement assistance with past due accounts

To schedule an appointment contact the branch most convenient to you. Immediately upon scheduling the appointment, the Branch Manager will mail information to you that will direct you on what to bring to the appointment.
